What does our lawn care program include?
At Delaware Valley Turf, we have designed a comprehensive lawn care program that includes everything your grass needs to stay healthy and beautiful throughout the growing season. When you enroll in this program, we will visit your property multiple times throughout the year to administer both lawn fertilization and weed control treatments. Our fertilization treatments will provide your grass with the nutrients it needs to flourish while our weed control treatments will eliminate unsightly, nutrient-stealing weeds!
Our Lawn Care Program Treatment Schedule
When you enroll in our lawn care program, we will visit your property 6 times per year to apply our treatments. Here is a breakdown of our treatment schedule:
- March: Our first treatment of the year is a pre-emergent weed control application that is designed to get ahead of spring weeds.
- April/May: Our second visit to your property includes another round of pre-emergent weed control to continue preventing troublesome weeds from sprouting.
- May/June: During this visit, we'll administer a post-emergent weed control treatment to tackle any existing weeds on your lawn. We'll also apply a fertilizer treatment to supply your grass with the nutrients it needs to deal with summer stress.
- July/August: For our fourth visit, we'll apply another round of post-emergent weed control to target pesky weeds. Then, we'll fertilize your grass again to help it endure the stressful summer months.
- September: As fall gets underway, we'll administer another fertilizer treatment to help your lawn recover from the summer. We'll also spot-spray any existing weeds with our post-emergent herbicide.
- October/November: Our final visit of the year involves a fertilizer treatment to help your grass recover from summer-related stress and build up its strength before winter. We will also apply a weed control treatment to deal with any existing weeds.
