The process involves passing over your lawn once or twice with an aerator, depending on its needs, to pull up plugs of soil. That way, we loosen soil compaction and create passageways for nutrients, water, and oxygen to reach the roots of your grass more easily. A harrow rake will also be dragged behind the aerator to break up the soil cores, making them less conspicuous.
